Measurement Guide
In order to assist you in finding the right size, we have included instructions on how to properly take your measurements. For best results, use a mirror to ensure your tape measure remains parallel to the floor (except for the inseam measurement).
For Women:
How to properly measure:
1. Your Bust:
For the most accurate results, measure yourself when wearing an unlined (unpadded) or lightly lined bra.
a) Band Size: Using a soft tape-measure, measure around the ribcage directly under the bust. The tape should rest on the lower band of your bra. Be sure the tape is snug (but not too tight), smooth across the back, and level with the front.
Write down your measurement and add 5 to obtain your band size. If the number is odd like 31”, it’s best to go to the next even band size (32”). For example; you measured 26” + 5”=31” (rounding up 1) =32”.
b) Cup Size: Measure completely around the bust at the fullest point, holding the tape measure straight and snug (but not too tight). Using the chart below, the difference between this measurement and your band measurement is your cup size. For example if your band size is 32”, and your bust measurement is 34” you would wear a “B” cup in a bust fitted or bra lingerie.
less than 1 inch = AA cup
1 inch = A cup
2 inches = B cup
3 inches = C cup
4 inches = D cup
5 inches = DD cup
Comfort Counts!
While this measurement method is usually reliable for figuring size, every woman's body is different and your results may vary slightly. If you are more comfortable wearing a 34C and you measure as a 36C, by all means wear what is most comfortable.
2. Your Waist:
Your waist measurement is the distance around the smallest part of your natural waistline. Wrap the soft tape measure around the smallest part of your waist, and pull the other end of the tape measure around the back of your waist. Ensure the tape is snug (but not too tight), and where the two ends meet is your actual waist measurement.
3. Low Waist:
Your low waist measurement is the distance around your waist, approximately 2” below your natural waistline (typically where your hip bone starts). Measure approximately 2" below the natural waistline or 2 fingers below the navel. This measurement applies to all of our pants and shorts. It is also used for any skirt that sits below the navel.
4. Hips:
In order to accurately measure your hips, ensure the tape measure is parallel to the floor and measure the distance around the fullest part of your hips.
For Men:
Your waist:
Your waist measurement is the distance around your waist where you typically wear your pants (which varies from person to person).
Your chest:
To find the proper size top, you’ll need to measure around the fullest part of your chest. You will want to make sure that the tape measure is straight and parallel to the floor.
